Banned Book List Fun

I stopped by Just Books and noticed that she had up a list of over 100 Banned Books and was doing something I thought was fun with it. She said she went to Books and Quilts and ran across the post on Banned Books. Here is what you do if you want to participate:

List of the top 110 banned books (of all time). Bold the ones you’ve read. Italicize the ones you’ve read part of. Quotation Mark the ones you specifically want to read (at least some of). Read more. Convince others to read some.

I was surprised to see how many of these I have read! Apologies but I just do not have time to take part in the meme at the moment. With no internet connection for most of last week thanks to a storm it is taking me for ever to catch up on on line activities.

No problem. There are other lists out there too and it is surprising what is on them. One of the recent challenged book series was the House of Night books by PC and Kristin Cast. I don't know if you have read any of them but it is a young adult vampire series. What is much more surprising about this series is that not only were the books already written put on the list but they included books in the series that have not yet been written. I find that both amazing and appalling.
