Review: Pressing the Issue

Pressing the Issue Pressing the Issue by Daryl Wood Gerber
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely adored Pressing the Issue! This book is part of a series by Daryl Wood Gerber, A Cookbook Nook Mystery. In this book a renaissance fair is happening. I love those fairs! They are incredibly fun and honestly I was certain if all the fun could be captured in a mystery book. The author, however, managed to do that. I had so much fun reading this story! I have recommended it to friends who don’t particularly care for cozy mysteries just for the fun of the fair. The one friend I lent my copy to told me how much she enjoyed it too. We had wonderful chats about it, making it an excellent choice for a fun buddy read or a book club. If you have never been to a renaissance fair and are curious about them, read this book. It is a fun look at them. The mystery was well done. The author had me guessing and then changing my mind with well placed red herrings. Time flies when your having fun and before you know it you will be at the end. Be sure to save this one for a day when you can get totally lost.
Thank to the Review Crew for providing a review opportunity and the author who provided a review copy. The final copy may differ slightly. All opinions expressed are my true feelings about this book.
