WOW & WWW

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Here is what I am waiting for

Enthralled      The Undead Situation     I Wish I Were Engulfed in Flames: My Insane Life Raising Two Sons with Autism

The Pledge     A Dark and Lonely Place     Death on a Platter (Josie Marcus, Mystery Shopper, #7)  If You Give a Dog a Donut
Enthralled: Paranormal Diversions by several awesome authors. Melissa Marr and Kelly  Armstrong to name a couple. Doesn't the cover look awesome? I am so excited for this book to come out.  Due out in September.

The Undead Situation by Eloise J Knapp was released for a limited time back in December of 2009. I was one of the lucky ones who picked it up free. It is in my waiting for list because I have told so many people about this book. I have been dying for it to come back out. I am so excited that it is due out this November. *Happy dance*

I Wish I Engulfed In Flames: My Insane Life Raising Two Sons With Autism by Jeni Decker. Jeni writes with humor, compassion and thoughtfulness while keeping it real. I have very high expectations for this book. I have been eagerly waiting for it for the past month. It is due out in November. Just in Time for Christmas, (shameless hint to family members).

The Pledge by Kimberly Derting. The cover of this one freaks me out. The synopsis blew me away. Coming out in November. *Family: once again Christmas connection. If neither of these books are wrapped up with my name I am going to return your gifts*

A Dark and Lonely Place by Edna Buchanan.  A romantic, historical thriller by Edna Buchanan. You can't go wrong. Coming in November. * I'm making this as easy as I can family. Don't make me disown you at Christmastime.*

Death on a Platter by Elaine Viets. What a fun cover. The synopsis says someone is poisoned  Comes out in November. * Family do not buy this one. I am getting it. I may need it before Christmas. What? Did I threaten anyone? I was just saying I may need it. Don't get testy.*

If You Give A Dog A Donut by Laura Numeroff is the book Junior is waiting for. He loves the other books in this series. This one comes out in October.

* What are you currently reading?
* What did you recently finish reading?
* What do you think you’ll read next?

My Current Reads

The Bond: Conqueror  Pirates of Savannah: The Birth of Freedom in the Low Country  Darwin's Children (Volume 1)  My Haunted Family: Engrossing tales of one family's encounters with the unknown

What I Just Finished:

Ghost on Black Mountain  Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West (Wicked Years, #1)  A Log Cabin Christmas: 9 Nine Romances of American Pioneer Christmases

Reviews and an interview with Ann Hite coming soon!

What's Next?

Wicked Autumn: A Max Tudor Novel  The Caretakers  Lord of Rage (Royal House of Shadows, #2)  The Apothecary

Pretty cool line up right? I'm excited to see yours. So be sure to leave me a comment. If you have no blog, please let me know what you are waiting on, reading, finished, going to read, wish you could read. Okay anything at all.

Thanks for stopping by Book Sake.

I am amazed by reviewers who can read more than one book at a time. I would get the characters and plots confused, but thenit could be my age lol. You had a very productive week of reading. Good for you!!! Thanks for stopping by.

LOL I always have more than one book going at a time too. That's never really bothered me. Though sometimes I do find myself so into a book that I completely forget about whatever else I'm reading.

Great picks for this week Cristina! You have a lot of neat looking books that you are waiting on. I can always count on you to have something different that I haven't heard of yet. :)

I am so out of the loop it's not funny. I have no idea of anything that's coming out in the months ahead! This must be remedied. :)

I did just finish reading John Grisham's "A Time to Kill" and enjoyed it very much. So much, in fact, that I'm writing my blog's first book review on it! Hooray for progress!

Of course I immediately became interested in "Death on a Platter". I don't know what that says about me! LOL

But all your books are new to me. I'm gonna go look them up at Goodreads.

Thanks for dropping by my blog! I left a reply to your comment there. :)

Wow! You are a reading machine. I'm so impressed that you can read so many books - and get through so many books - in such a short space of time! I really like the look of 'A Log Cabin Christmas Collection'!

Hey, thanks for your comment! I like your list. You´re reading a looooot!!! The girl on the cover of "The Apothecary" looks like one of those olsen twins...
Haven´t read any of the books. How was "Ghost on Black Mountain"? I really like the cover! Did you like the book?

Even though my blog is mostly written in German (but I´m mostly reading by book in English), would you like to link our blogs?

All the best,
Cornelia

OMG! I so can't wait for Enthralled either! So many of my fave authors are in the anthology!! Keep entering contests to win a copy but have had 0 luck! Oh well, at least I'm only 1 month away now!

The Pledge was a pretty good read too! Finished that one earlier this week. If you have a Simon & Schuster Galley Grab account you can read it now! If not just sign up for one, here's the link to read The Pledge because it wasn't in the newsletter this month but is available!

Ghost on Black Mountain sounds pretty cool. I've recently gotten on a southern Gothic kick, and this would probably fit right in. :)

Thank you all so much for coming by. I had a medical treatment done today so I am unable to comment back. I will however get back to you all when I am a bit better. Sorry. Sometimes I get really sick afterward.

Book Sake I know. It is enthralling. LOL Stop groaning at my bad joke. You sound like my children. (Just kidding). I am excited about it. So many awesome authors are lined up for it.
CMash I have heard that from a lot of people regardless of age. Maybe it is just something I learned as a kid and still do. I keep them all straight without a thought.
Jenn I get lost in one occasionally and neglect the others. Ghost on Black Mountain was like that for me. A review and interview are coming up. I pick ones that call me by name. LOL. I am drawn in to so many different genres and I look at books everywhere. Or maybe I'm just strange. :)
Melissa That's it! I'm not strange. Whew! I like your blog.
Anya, I think the big list says, "this women has no life." I do though and sometimes I fall behind. This week is one. :(
Sarah, Yes it must be remedied by you joining in the fun next week if you have time. Congrats on the review. I will check back to see it. I love excitement!
almeldiel can't be any worse than what I said to my family. haha. Death on a Platter just sounds like a fun mystery to me.
Book Gatherer I enjoyed a Log Cabin Christmas. I am going to do a Christmas book special in September and the review will be there. Hope you look forward to that.
Niina entered your giveaway :) Wicked the book was interesting. I think the show probably tops the book though. Or maybe I just like live theater. haha. The review will be soon. I'm behind this week due to illness.
Cornelia the good thing about your blog is that you can switch it to English so I hope everyone will go over to it. Grab my button on the side there or link me however you can. I will be linking you in a bit. If I forget send me a reminder. I am not well today. I really liked your blog and would love to spread the word about it.
Cameo, your my girl! I'm happy to see you stop by. I hope you have been getting in some writing time. I am impatient for the follow up to In MY Dreams.
Jessica, what would I do without you? I have the account but did not have it when The Pledge came out. Thank you so much!
Sidne, That is so funny. I always thought everyone read more than a book at a time. When I found out different I thought not reading this way was just wrong. LOL Caretakers I got from the author. It looks like it will be compelling. I glanced at the first page when it came in, (I can't help myself), and before I knew it I had read the first chapter! Thanks for the update on Yesterday's Lies. I am so excited about it. You know that it is going to knock over all the books I am reading when it gets here. LOL Thanks for the giveaway.
Keely Ann I am looking forward to Wicked Autumn too. It looks like one I may get lost in.
coachpotatocritic Get Ghost on Black Mountain. I have a review and author interview coming up.
Thank you Robyn. I enjoyed stopping by you.
quirky girls isn't she awesome? I first picked up on the book because I saw she was one of the authors.
Thanks so much all. Sorry about the delay in responding!
