Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB ofShould Be Reading. Anyone can play along!

I will be taking my teasers from The Shifters of 2040  by Ami Blackwelder

Page 13:
She wanted to inflict as little harm as she could in this inhumane research. But
then, the shifters didn’t remind her much of anything human, or
of anything living.

Page 14:
Melissa turned her head away and refused to watch the deliberate
pain inflicted, to merely learn how much electricity the
SCM needed to wound, stun and kill shifters. Once the shifter
returned to a still state, the shadow regained what Melissa called
consciousness, and the blackness retreated as yellow lights returned.

Page 15:
The room filled with silence and then the shifter who had
vanished spilled out of the wire and reassembled over the hard
floor. The shadow shape metamorphosed into a large white bear,
thrusting wide paws at the assistant.

I will be reviewing a few of Ami's books soon. Watch for them.

Please leave me a comment with where to find your teaser. If you don't have a blog then please feel free to leave a sentence or two from a book you are reading !

Hi, thanks for stopping by, and also for appreciating my taste in music! :)
All the books seem pretty good, but the Shifter Evolutions series seem the best, even though I'm not the biggest sci-fi fan. I guess it's the concept that I like most about it! And it's set in Alaska, that sounds great, too! :)

Wow, she wrote a lot. The book your teasers are from sounds gruesome! I only read one book that was set in Alaska but I liked it very much: "Touching Spirit Bear" by Ben Mikaelsen.

Thanks for following us!
